The guys at AS Fusion have done it again. They always seem to amaze me on what can be accomplished with CFForms. AS Fusion have built a MXNA/Full As A Goog Reader in ColdFusion using only Flash Forms and Flash Remoting. You can read more about what the application is all about here.

Nahuel Foronda and Laura Arguello from AS Fusion have managed to get Flash Remoting to work within ColdFusion Flash Forms. There were other workarounds using an external swf and loading it into the CF Flash Forms. There are currently three posts on the subject. Take a look at the links below.

Mike from Oddhammer has posted up some performance tests using the FP8 Beta. You can check the tests out here. There are some areas that did show some gains but otherwise it was on par with the current Flash Player.
