great stuff! Are you using Flex1 or Flex2 ?

One thing -Flickr prefers it if you add a link to the photo’s Flickr photo page, so that there is a way to get to the page of the person who took the photo.

Hi Eric, i will post the source code in the coming weeks. I wanted to clean it up a little and add those features i mentioned above.

Felix, i have added the correct URL for the photo. It now takes you to the Flickr users page.

I would be interested in the code as well. I was about to venture and start writing the very app you created but you have already done a great job of it. I mainly want to use it so share images with my family. The UI on flickr is a bit clunky for browsing and sorting through alot of images. You Flex front end solves this problem.

Hi simon,
I am new to flex2. I have downloaded the source code files from the macromedia site for flickr etc.. However i dont know how to go about. I want to develop a flickr-like application fro practise. Could u guide me the same.
I liked your blog a lot.
